Skylink X1271 Quick Start

1. Connect all 4 antennas to the back of the modem until they are finger tight.
2. Plug in the power to the modem and wait 5 minutes. 
   1. (if the power light doesn't come on immediately, make sure the power button on the side is pressed in)
3. Once the 1st 3 lights on the modem and the signal light is green, you can move on to step 4.
   1. *See below if you have any issues
4. Connect your Wi-Fi devices to the Skylink modem. Choose between SKYLINK_2.4G and SKYLINK_5G.
   1. (2.4G is for long range and 5G is for short range. Start with 2.4G for best Wi-Fi signal)
   2. The wi-fi key (password) is on the bottom of the modem. It is Getlinked
      
   3. Do NOT use the yellow WAN port.
5. You are all set!
   
   

*If the modem does not start working then move the modem around to different North, South, East and West areas of the home until you get signal. You must start at step 1 every time you move the modem to a new location.
