Whenever a message appears on your modem, most of the time, it will say something along the lines of "# new unread message(s) Visit http://attwifimanger to view the message." Most of the time, these messages will be something like, "Your 22gb of data have been exceeded for this month."
What that is referring to is the provider (either AT&T or T-Mobile) making you aware of its policy to reserve the right to temporarily reduce your speeds in times of congestion after you have used 22gb of data. However, there is no need to worry because our experience has shown that this policy does not generally impact customers in rural areas.
